Walk, Ride & Connect
Saturday 05.09.2026 (Freinsheim)
Explore Freinsheim's charming old town, and enjoy a relaxing wagon ride through scenic vineyards while connecting in English.
Whether you're new to English Café Germany or already part of our community, this event is all about connecting with friendly people in a relaxed atmosphere.
What we'll do:
We’ll take the train together to Freinsheim and explore its charming old town on a relaxed walk. From there, we’ll hop on a horse-drawn wagon and ride through the beautiful vineyards, enjoying the scenery, good conversations and a glass of wine along the way. Afterwards, we’ll round off the day with ice cream together before heading back to Frankenthal.
Enjoy an international community where English is our common language. Don't worry about perfection - just come as you are!
Details:
📍 Meeting point: 10:15 am at Frankenthal Central Station, Platform 3A
🚆 Train departure: 10:32 am
🚆 Return to Frankenthal: around 4:30 pm
⚠️ Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure - the train won't wait.
🎟️ Ticket: 30 € per person
⚠️ Limited spots available, early booking is recommended.

- Train ticket not included: Please purchase your own train ticket before the event.
- Animal Welfare: On very hot days, the wagon may be pulled by a tractor instead of horses to ensure the well-being of the animals.
- Minimum Participants: This event requires a minimum number of participants. If this number is not reached, the event may be cancelled and all registered participants will receive a full refund.
- Cancellation Policy: Plans can change – we understand! If you need to cancel, please let us know by Wednesday, September 02, 2026. Unfortunately, cancellations after this date cannot be refunded.

Meet new people, enjoy good conversations, and spend a relaxed summer evening outdoors.
What to Expect:
A casual picnic with a friendly mix of locals, internationals, newcomers, and regular community members. Enjoy meaningful conversations, a relaxed atmosphere, and a few outdoor games.
What to bring:
- A blanket or something to sit on
- Drinks for yourself
- Optional: snacks to share

Our Social Hangout at Freinsheim Stadtmauerfest was a fantastic summer day filled with laughter, great conversations, delicious food, live music, and even a little dancing.
It was wonderful to welcome both familiar and new faces, creating new connections and sharing unforgettable moments together.

Our ECG Social Hangout @Strohhutfest in Frankenthal was everything we hoped for and more.
People who had never met before came together to explore the Strohhutfest, share conversations, laugh, connect and create new memories.
That's what ECG is all about.
