A day of nature, connection, great conversations and good vibes awaits in the beautiful Palatinate Forest.
📍 Meeting point: Frankenthal Central Station (bus station area)
🕙 Meet: 10:00 AM
🚌 Departure: 10:15 AM
🏡 Destination: Maikammer & Hellerhütte
🕔 Return: around 5:00 PM
What to expect:
Spend a Sunday outdoors, explore the beautiful Palatinate Forest and enjoy a day filled with good conversations, new connections and plenty of fun.
We’ll start our hike in Maikammer (Totenkopfhütte) and make our way through the forest to the Hellerhütte, where we’ll take a longer break to relax, grab something to eat or drink, socialize, and enjoy the time together before heading back.
Come on your own or with friends, everyone is welcome. The focus is on enjoying nature, meeting people, connecting with the community and simply having a great day together.

Your ticket includes the bus transfer from Frankenthal to Maikammer and back, as well as the organized Hike & Connect experience.
Spots are limited to 17 participants.

What to bring:
- Hiking shoes or comfortable shoes with good grip
- Enough water for the hike
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- A small backpack for your personal belongings
- Cash for food and drinks at the forest hut
Important information:
- The hike distance is approx. 9 km on natural forest trails, including some uneven sections.
- The pace is relaxed and suitable for most people with basic fitness.
- Please make sure you feel comfortable walking the distance before joining.
- The event takes place in most weather conditions.
- In case of extreme weather, the event may be rescheduled or cancelled.
- Food and drinks at the forest hut are not included.
Cancellation Policy:
- Plans can change – we understand!
- Full refund if you cancel at least 72 hours before the event.
- Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event are non-refundable.
- If the event is cancelled by the organizer, participants receive a full refund.
- Tickets can be transferred to another person if you cannot attend.
