Why this exists
Like many people, I learned English at school and later used it for some time at work.
But without regular use, it slowly fades, and real conversations become harder.
I realized that the best way to keep a language alive is simply by speaking it. Especially with people who already speak English well.
The idea
During a language trip, I experienced social English events where people with different levels met, talked, laughed, and connected in a relaxed atmosphere.
That mix of fluent speakers and learners made the conversations natural, fun, and truly helpful.
When I came back home, I missed exactly that. So I decided to create it.
What we do
English Café Germany brings people together in cafés and bars to speak English in a natural, social way.
It’s not just about practicing a language. It’s about enjoying the moment, meeting new people, and sharing conversations that feel real.
Simple formats make it easy to start talking, and often new connections and friendships grow along the way.
